Summer Travel Fashion Inspiration

Yesterday was officially the first day of summer, and we couldn’t be more excited! Not only are schedules more carefree, work lighter, and days longer, but travel this time of year is simply the best. Of course, packing for a getaway can be stressful, but if you plan ahead and get organized, you can really be in good shape and not stressed the night before the vacation. And the great thing about packing for summer vacations is that the clothes are lighter, you need less layers, and thus, the items don’t take up as much space in your suitcase. While that doesn’t necessarily mean you should now bring more shoes, it is nice to know that you don’t have to pack bulky boots and heavy coats.

Below we’ve pulled together three different outfits that would be perfect for some of your summer vacations. Hopefully this serves as inspiration when you start packing. Safe travels!

Outfit 1: Jeans and a Sleeveless Blouse

Since it’s summer, push your denim aside and pull out those white cropped jeans! There’s no time better than now. As well, assuming it’s hot where you’re going, you’ll want to pair the jeans with a lightweight blouse, and make it colorful! This is the time of year for color. If wearing a colorful top, you might want to keep your accessories neutral, such as a nude clutch and sandals, and gold hoops.

Outfit 2: Summer Dress

Nothing says summer quite like a little white dress. Again, look for a lightweight style, maybe even with some added details, such as cut outs or embroidery. Pair it with white espadrilles, a straw tote, and a beautiful bracelet.

Outfit 3: Jean Shorts and a Top

For a more casual look, go for jean shorts with a lightweight white top. Since it’s all neutrals, accessorize with color. Think : a colorful tote, fun red sandals, and an emerald ring.
